Nadia Tahoun is a Miami-born artist, curator, and community organizer currently based in the Hudson Valley. She is the Co-Founder and Director of Flower Shop Collective (FSC), an art studio and educational hub dedicated to nurturing emerging artists and fostering dialogue on equitable futures. Through FSC, she leads artist-driven programming that prioritizes mentorship, resource-sharing, and exhibitions that challenge traditional art world structures. Her work explores themes of resilience, memory, and collective storytelling, often engaging with histories of trauma.

Nadia is currently an MSW candidate at Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work, specializing in Community Organizing, Planning, and Development. Drawing from her academic background with a BFA in Media & Culture Studies from Parsons School of Design, she approaches curation with academic frameworks rooted in political history and praxis.

As an artist, her work has been exhibited at Focus Fair, Tunnel Projects, ArteEast, Hinds Collective, the Center for Photography at Woodstock, and ArtSync Tokyo. She has also led workshops and spoken at institutions such as Amnesty International, Bard College, the NYC Mayor’s Office of Labor Relations, and the Global Diversity Foundation, using storytelling and creative expression as tools for dialogue and engagement.
